YMCA's Vanderbilt and West Side

The ever popular Y's provide clean and safe accommodation and great value for money. Both of these properties benefit from great locations - the former is positioned on Manhattan's fashionable East Side and the latter is on the Upper West Side, close to Central Park. The twin bedded rooms are simple but comfortable and all come with colour TV and air conditioning. Each centre has a coffee shop/snack bar, souvenir shop and a travel desk and students can also use the leisure centre and swimming pool (prebooking required). Without doubt these are the best budget hostels in New York.


Hotel Pennsylvania

This large, popular 3 star hotel has a good, central location opposite the famous Madison Square Gardens and just one block form Macy's Department Store. Student rooms are all recently renovated and accommodate 3 or 4 in single beds. A very popular, safe choice in an extremely central location.
