This 5 day/3 night study tour has been developed by practising Politics/Citizenship teachers and lecturers to provide a simple but comprehensive package to introduce students to the political structures and institutions in the USA in general and New York in particular. Experience has confirmed that you can't take students to the most exciting city in the world and reasonably expect them to sit in a classroom! Your study tour focuses around a customised 4 hour guided sightseeing coach tour of the city.

Included in your package:

• 4 hour guided sightseeing tour by coach visiting the upper east and west sides; Harlem, Midtown and the Theatre Direct; the East and West villages; Chinatown; the Financial District and Ground Zero. During your tour, or possibly at other times during your stay extended stops are made and talks given at:


• New York City Hall
• The United Nations
• The Federal Reserve Bank and Gold Vaults
• The Islamic Cultural Centre
